Happy Memorial Day.
I am thankful for and love those i have served with and those who have fallen defending our country. Especially these two men - Mikey and Heath. Both of them lost their lives while we were in Iraq - I remember them every single day with the bracelet I wear - but please, for me, stop and remember them too - its because of people like us that you have today off so take a minute during your festivities to remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and for all those still fighting.

the people i served with, whether at times we fought or not, they are my family and i love them more than most. i trust these people with my life and vice versa. i know that no matter what, they will always be there for me and i will always be there for them. the bonds you make with people you serve with aren’t like anything else - and if i had to go back in time and do it all over again with them - i would in a heart beat.
